MinIO is een S3 storage systeem om data te kunnen opslaan en gebruiken.

Notitie: de MinIO dienst is momenteel in een beta-fase.

Aanvragen

Om de MinIO te kunnen gebruiken moet een TOPdesk melding worden aangemaakt. Het formulier is te vinden onder Mijn Werkplek -> Servers & Webservices -> Webhosting -> Meld webhosting issue. Vermeld bij de aanvraag om welke website het gaat en welk functioneel | personeel | studenten account(afgekort { f | p | s }-account) aan de website gekoppeld zit.

Inrichten

Als de aanvraag verwerkt is krijgt u instructies bij welke MinIO u zich kunt aanmelden. Het aanmelden gaat met het { f | p | s }-account wat u heeft aangeleverd in Aanvragen.

Zo gaat de procedure als volgt:

  1. Open een webbrowser
  2. Ga naar de aangegeven website
  3. Login met het { f | p | s }-account
  4. Druk op Buckets in het linker menu
  5. Druk op Create Bucket in het rechter menu bovenaan de pagina
  • Bij Bucket name voert u het { f | p | s }-account in
  • Bij Features kunt u features aan of uitzetten. Het is aan u om te bepalen of er een feature wel of niet nodig is
  1. Druk op Create Bucket
  2. Ga in het linker menu naar Access Keys
  3. Druk op Create access key
  • Sla de Access key en de Secret key op een veilige locatie op
  • Bij Name vult u het { f | p | s }-account in
  1. druk op Create
  2. In het venster wat zich voor doet kunt u (nogmaals) de Access Key en Secret Key zien en kopieren. Ook kunt u de keys downloaden. Zodra u dat gedaan hebben kunt u het venster sluiten
  3. U kunt nu testen of u de MinIO bucket kunt bereiken vanuit de applicatie

Request

To use the MinIO, a TOPdesk call must be created. The form can be found under My Workplace -> Servers & Webservices -> Webhosting -> Report webhosting issue. When making the request, please state which website it concerns and which functional | staff | student account (abbreviated { f | p | s } account) is linked to the website.

Setup

Once the application has been processed, you will receive instructions on which MinIO you can register with. You can register with the { f | p | s } account that you provided in request.

The procedure is as follows:

    Open a web browser Go to the indicated website Log in with the { f | p | s } account Press Buckets in the left menu Press Create Bucket in the right menu at the top of the page
      Enter the { f | p | s } account under Create Bucket You can turn features on or off under Features. It is up to you to decide whether or not a feature is needed
        Press Create Bucket In the left menu go to Access Keys Press Create access key
          Save the Access key and the Secret key in a safe location In Name fill in the { f | p | s } account
            Press Create In the window that appears you can (again) see and copy the Access Key and Secret Key. You can also download the keys. Once you have done that you can close the window You can now test whether you can reach the MinIO bucket from the application

            Note: Make sure you use the correct url for the S3 server
